​Vasu Rao is a practicing physician in the Houston area for the past 20 years. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Rice University. He completed his medical school and residency at Baylor College of Medicine and his fellowship at M.D. Anderson/S.T Luke's Hospital Interventional Radiology. He currently is a partner of West Houston Radiology Associates, a group that covers a vast majority of hospitals and imaging centers in the Houston area.

Potu Rao received a PhD in cytogenesis and postdoctoral training in cell biology at the University of Kentucky and University of Colorado Medical Center. He worked at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center for many years. Throughout his career he published over 150 papers in scientific journals and trained graduate students and post-doctoral fellows. He retired as a professor and chief of section of Cellular Pharmacology at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in 1991. Currently he is active in teaching his grandchildren, gardening and making stained glass

James Orengo completed his undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University, earning a degree in Molecular and Cell Biology. He then completed his MD/PhD at Baylor College of Medicine, where his thesis training focused on investigating the mechanisms involved in skeletal muscle wasting in a leading cause of adult onset muscular dystrophy, myotonic dystrophy. Dr. Orengo is obtaining further training as a Neurology resident at the University of California, San Francisco. Once his training is complete he will be focusing on bridging the gap between advancements made in the laboratory to clinical practice.

Claudia Orengo is a practicing psychiatrist in Houston and a clinical associate professor at Baylor College of Medicine. She graduated Magna Cum Lade from Rice University and received her MD/PhD degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. She completed her residency in psychiatry at Baylor College of Medicine in 1995. She has published numerous scientific papers and mentored many students and residents. She is the mother of four children and enjoys spending time with her family.
